Meet Linda Rogers

I have always loved the contrasts of shapes and colors, and have found that fabric is a wonderful medium for my designs  I will purchase new fabric on occasion, when it jumps out and grabs me, but I prefer constructing my palette with cast-offs. The hunt for unloved, second-hand clothing and textiles is almost as exciting for me as making something beautiful and new with them.  Breaking the traditional rules of the quilting world, by using a color that “just won’t work”, or not squaring up my edges, for example, is liberating.  I enjoy puzzling out a solution and seeing where the creative journey takes me.
